Life can be scary

No man is an island
Yet we refuse God's help
"No thank you, I got it"
In actuality
it's scary
If you stop to think about it
In a world where
Donald Trump may be
The next American president
I'm thinking about leaving
And I'm not even a resident
U.K. is looking
To pull out of the E.U.
You're naive if you think
These things won't affect
Me or you
I'm pro-choice
But look at where it's got us
LGBT has got us trapped
Hiding in a closet
Racism's still alive
Like Martin never had a dream
A bunch of Judases
In matching jerseys
But Jesus never made the team
We rely on our own strength
The great fall of man
Repeating the cycle
Solomon, Samson, Cain, Adam
The Almighty God
wants a relationship with us
But we'd rather see other people
"I don't wanna get tied down"
Nah, I'm not ready for anything serious"
Yet when storm clouds roll in
And we start seeing rips in our sails
We cry out for the Father
Jehovah Mephalti
"Please! Deliver me!"
Don't you see unfair it is?
How used and disappointed
He must feel?
He loves you
His grace is sufficient
To cover all your sins
Accept Him as your Savior
Open your heart
Let Him In
You'll experience
A love like no other
If you don't know how to pray
Matthew 6 verse 9
Say the Lord's Prayer
